The majority of Americans pay no taxes. He can't even reduce taxes for 95% of working Americans because 40 million of them also pay...no taxes. What he's left with is that 1 in 4 Americans pay taxes. That's less than 25%. Long way from 95%.

"Logic" is like mother nature. You can't fool logic. Scott's claim that "most Americans don't pay taxes" is a lie. He might try shilling that many Americans don't pay federal income taxes - although he didn't shill that originally. Even still, Obama's claim is founded on much more than just issuing credits to those with federal income taxes owing.

Oh? Since when did children, housewives, welfareers, and street bums start paying taxes? That removes 66% of the total population. Now you can shed 25% of those remaining that work for the government. They pay no taxes. They draw their salaries from taxes. The bottom red line private sector is about 75 million people. 40 million of them pay no taxes. Kids working at McDonalds, Walmart Geeters, Dollar Store employees...or anybody making less than 21,500/yr. April 15th....they get ALL of their tax money back. Now your're down to 11% who actually foot the bill. Those who actually pay in more than they get back. Obama says he will give tax breaks to 95% of Americans. Obama is a LIAR. 89% of Americans pay no taxes.
