Petty partisan parsing
by Ischua
The article about Sarah Palin's sentences is, without doubt, the silliest comment ever thrown up, litterally puked, by anyone in The Fray. Worse, the author surely stole from Maureen Dowd's recent jealous and similarly silly rant. Diagram this, you silly wretch: Sarah Palin will be VP and then President, you will hear her addressed as Madame President.

"litterally puked"

You neither literally puked nor could you have spelled it if you had. Thrown up followed by puke would've been darn clever had it been intentional.

The post was certainly silly. It was a nice try at illuminating the idiocy of her interview answers (whatever Palin's merits, no rational person can deny she went down in flames in those interviews and did so with no evil manipulation by the interviewers; staunch Republican boosters called for her to be taken off the ticket after viewing them) but it failed as commentary because the same mechanic applied to any spoken English would be nearly as ugly. The ugly diagrams would be of answers which made sense but the diagrams themselves would still hurt the head of my sixth grade English teacher.

WHATEVER!!!! If you can't talk the talk, you can't walk the walk. So go throwup.

The ability to read, write, and speak, the English language clearly and properly may not mean much to you, but it's surely the mark of an educated person.

The smart money is betting against Sarah getting out of Alska any time soon. Perhaps in the distant future a Republican administration might appoint her to head FEMA, or maybe SLMA if it still exists.

Just because you don't have the education to speak proper english, does not mean we want a leader who can not.
