Your post smacks of elitism to me. It is the Ivy League crowd that got us into this mess to begin with. Maybe we need some common sense to get us out.

I suppose the answer might depend upon if you are one who feels that cleverness, intellect, and knowledge are only obtained from universities and institutes of higher learning.

Begging to question how it is our founding forefathers, in all their infinate wisdom, neglected to leave us with the instrustions to require only the ones graduating soon-to-come-loudly from some big eastern academy be appointed as our leaders.

Since when is working hard to get an education
by Beleg

"elitist"? Only since some drugged up buffoon said so.

Working hard to get an education used to be a primary goal, part of the American Dream. Sorry about your inferiority complex though, to bad for you.

Since WHEN you ask?

Oddly enough, it was at damned near the same time the notion of "Working hard" for ANYTHING went away and the "primary goal" became getting just enough of an education to demand that your government take from others and give you whatever you view as "the American Dream".
