Lets hope for a Democratic sweep in '08. There's plenty of reason to expect an Obama victory, 58 Democrats in the Senate (up from 49) and a small Democratic gain in the US House--maybe 6-8 seats. That's what the current numbers indicate. How they will break in the next four weeks?

I have faith in the American people to sort out the competing claims and records of candidates up and down the line.
