i dont know who is saying indiana is a swing state but they must not live in indiana and obama you are wasting your time and money trying to sway people here we as a state will never let you win here

Look at the poll numbers on the right sidebar at fivethirtyeight.com. While McCain leads on all but one poll, most of the results are well within the margin of error - he has a 6% lead or better in only three polls.

Plus, Obama's strategy from the start was to spend in traditionally solid red states, to force McCain to waste his money and time in traditionally non-battleground states.

At this point in the game, McCain most likely has to run the table in all toss-up states and take a solid Obama state to win. Even if Obama ends up losing Indiana, it's a reasonable strategy to make the state competitive.

Alot of people that voted for bush in 2000 & 2004 thought that was a good idea too. Obama sure does know alot about the middle class and the economy after few years in office. Took him 15 or more years to find out what was going on in church. It's always amazing to see a Frayster who thinks that just they have no intention of voting for candidate A, then nobody else will.

McCain will probably win Indiana, but it'll be closer than Bush's margin of victory. If the current trends hold, however, Obama will hold onto all of the states that Kerry won and pick up enough of the real swing states to win the electoral college.
