If you political journalists were doing

your jobs the McCain campaign wouldn't have to be doing it for you. Although the average Obama supporter is blissfully and in some cases deliberately unaware or irrationally dismissive of Obama's long term and deep ties to radical extremists and their organizations, you, John Dickerson, and your fellow political journalists KNOW about those ties, just how deep they go, and how theydo reflect the character of Barack Obama.
Look, you work for the openly leftist Slate e-zine and so you are supposed to be deeply in the tank for Obama, essentially campaigning for him and you do a good job at that on the whole. But most of your fellow journalists are supposed to be, unlike you . . . REAL journalists and they are supposed to look into the real background of politicians like Barack Obama not just read his two memoirs and accept everything that the politician choses to say as holy gospel.
Last week you noted sarcastically that 'Everybody hates the press.' Well John, enough of you members of the press give people good reason to hate the profession and its 'so called' professionals that you really ought to stop and consider what 'in the tank for Obama' pros like you do to help tear down the reputation of the press in this nation and make people not trust it.
If you understood or respected the Constitution and really understood the role that the press is supposed to have in the health maintenance of a republic perhaps you would be less flippant regarding your role in being a really, really bad member of the press.
