It's pretty funny to watch
by Smiley1979

These tactics failed for Clinton, and they've been failing for mccain/palin for some time now. But they keep on believing that magically, they'll start working now.

The truth is that mccain only has one chance of pulling his campaign out of the swirling toilet bowl it's in now, and that's by honestly telling the American people his vision for the next 4 years. Of course even that won't work for him, because his vision is nothing that Americans want to see.

If he was honest with himself, he'd have no choice but to forfeit at this point.

The only thing McCain could say to give him a chance at turning things around would be to admit that all these years of reagonimics didn't work, that he was wrong on deregulation. But if he did that he'd lose his base, and it would be hard to convince Obama supporter that he was serious. It would look like more pandering. Thats the problem when you flip flop on all issues, you lose your credibility.
