Europe Under Regulated Too.....
by Hst_Fan
+1 Reply

As European stock markets tank, the Irish government guarantees bank deposits, the Benelux countries nationalize Fortis bank, Germany bails out Hypo Real Estate Holdings, and Denmark also guarantees bank deposits and dismally so forth, the question arises: Who knew that Europe, of all places, was so under-regulated? Or maybe de-regulation is not the chief cause for the outbreak of financial chaos? Just wondering.

No wait don't say it I already know it's Bush's fault, or the GOPs, or Wall Street or the preditory lending practices of the German housing industry forcing funky loans on unsuspecting German ctizens it's anything but government mucking around in the markets. EAT THE RICH......

Sorry. The unregulated US markets have spread disaster far and wide. This is the end of American economic dominance. You celebrate anything that makes the US weaker. The GOP bin ladens are celebrating.

"my gold is looking very good today."

Silver looks very good, well below its historical 52-1 ratio with gold. Good luck.

to Ts and metals back in March and don't regret it at all. The gold and silver is the holding kind not the paper kind.....

A greedy, wasteful, selfish and satanic society. Count your pieces of gold as the military industrial complex grows, the middle class shrinks. Misery moves up the economic pole and you might find yourself in a non-optimal position. A society that champions war, oppression, exploitation and greed. Celebrate all you wish.

Nice try. 30 years of neocon policies have brought this country to its knees. I hope we vote in McPalin and put the final nails in the coffin of this country. Being a soldier of Christ, nothing would make me happier than to see this satanic society collapse.

Agree on physical metals. Bought gold between $250 and $300 late Clinton and picked up silver eagles at $5 to $7 at the same time. I buy ten SF Silver proof sets for me every year and buy more to give as Christmas presents, including silver Dollars and commemoratives. The first year sets of state quarters are up a thousand percent, last I looked. Collectible and bullion value to boot. Fairly good price right now on the silver eagles.

On non-physical, been picking up FCX on the dips, as well as PCU in copper for dividends and appreciation. Have BHP for iron and other metals, CCJ and URRE in uranium.

We've had a little less than 20 years and 8 years of the zBlessed St. Bill of Hope that created a golden age created by fiscal responsibility. We know what works and what doesn't and Obama's tax plans are closer to McCain and Bush than to St. Bill. All Obama had to do was run as St. Bill and I would have voted for him. Instead he runs as JFK and Reagan, two of the worst presidents in my lifetime.
