Dear Prudie Dishes the Dirt on Track Palin

There But For The Grace of God Go I, Department:

Casting aspersion and throwing stones at other glass houses isn't exactly the wisest thing to do; anyone who has ever raised teenagers learns that lesson fast. And when your own glass house is in such disarray? Well, Margo Howard (Slate's "original" Prudie) came out swinging today, on Sarah Palin:

To live on the same street and to have served on a board with Billy Ayers, part of the Weather Underground when Obama was in grade school and now a professor, is not my idea of "palling around with." I think this hockey mom/moose skinner fits perfectly into the class war she is helping perpetuate, even though she has none.

It would have far more factual validity for Obama, or a surrogate, to publicize the fact that Track, the kid who joined the Army, did so because a judge told him it was that or jail due to his dealing drugs. I have a strong hunch, however, the Obama people would never get into that. Up until now the lady has annoyed me because of her ignorance and arrogance, I really thought I was done talking about Sarah Palin, but life is what happens when you're making other plans. I wish there were a word that was a cross between "appalled" and "nauseated," because that's what the lady's latest outburst has me feeling. Saturday evening Drudge picked up a Breitbart story where the headline was: "Palin says Obama 'palling around' with terrorists." As if this weren't bad enough, she went on to tell whatever group she was addressing: "This is not a man who sees America as you see America and as I see America." Well, I'll tell you what I see: a loud-mouth, loose-lipped nobody who is drunk on media attention and a quart low in the judgment department. I think both she and her aged "maverick" buddy owe Mr. Obama an apology for this one.

Margot, I mean. Her Palin Derangement Syndrome has gotten pretty far along when the former Prudie-in-exile refers to the Governor of Alaska as "a loud-mouth, loose-lipped nobody who is drunk on media attention and a quart low in the judgment department." Her reference to McCain as "aged" is the cherry on top.

How drunk was she? Surely over a quart lower of the hard stuff than before. Don't they have some special button to delete stuff even if it's been rated or responded to? Yeesh, what an embarrassment.

Um, I suppose if Track were running for President, we might want to know if he's still doing drugs. In a similar vein, if Obama is still cool with a domestic terrorist with whom he's had a number of cozy political dealings, that's good to know.

So are you hoping he gets killed in Iraq? I mean...that would probably help your candidate, wouldn't it?

That's the funny thing about dirt.

One wants it to just be the "other" guy and hopes so desperately that everyone's attention will stay off of oneself.

No one anywhere in Obama's campaign will touch anything having to do with Palin's family - even Todd.

Even the subpoena evasions.

Even the "quirky" tax returns.

Nope. He'll stick to the issues.

It's amazing to me that, no matter WHAT Bill Ayers did in his past, the McCain campaign acts as if HE is running for President. They are slurring and trashing the guy who is a private citizen in good standing of this country. Hoping beyond hope that at least some of their excrement will "stick" on Obama.

It won't.

Because it doesn't have anything TO DO with Obama.

Isn't it hilarious that G. Gordon Liddy is one of the loudest proponents of this trash talk??? They have NO shame!

I like to think I'm a little of both.

Consequences
by Urquhart

Seems to me G Gordon did his time. Obama, on the other hand, has avoided any consequences at all from this stuff.

I find it revealing that some here tend to equate having a teenage kid with a drug run-in and schmoozing and swapping campaign cash with an unrepentant terrorist. And then denying it.

I hate to think how ugly Palin Derangement Syndrome will get with you people by 2012.

Delay

So many fithy rotten crooks and scoundrels of the GOP it would take all night to type the names of the GOP thieves of recent history. A person does not have to go back to the 60s to find one. Some of these GOP freaks hung out with Mccain in the senate. Now they are in jail today lets talk about them.

The bin laden family were guests of the Bush family when the towers came down. Bush helped them leave the country when good American cirizens were trapped inairports around the world.

The family . . . has problems. Palin's ascension will be the biggest windfall soap opera writers ever got. Trailer Court, writ very large.

Is a "sentence" (join the military or go to jail) such as Track Palin allegedly received a matter of public record?
No.
by Fritz Gerlich

The offense was handled as a juvenile one. The record is sealed.

No judge can sentence anyone to join the military. A negotiated dispostion can require a defendant to attempt to enlist as a condition of probation.

Okay, put your hand down...what do you say?

Why don't you produce some evidence, you silly old hag. Our military force is volunteer now. They no longer do the go in the army or go to jail thing.

The military doesn't want hoodlums.
