...to that I would say, you betcha, and it is what the McCain campaign is banking on.

However pollsters are convinced it will not play as large a roll in 2008 as it did in 1982 - What do you think? From my perspective I hope we have evolved beyond this social impediment as some in the article seem to suggest.

And there are some other interesting "effects" at work too

For example, all of the traditional polling is done with telephone surveys - based on a sample population of people with landlines. These polls ignore a large segment of people who only use a cell phone - these are overwhelmingly younger voters who tend to support Obama.

Yes, I have read the theories on the youth of the country going primarily with cell phones. I am not convinced of this argument only because the youth vote has been historically unreliable. Let's hope they see their future and it is not by standing idlly by watching McCain win...

It's true that the youth vote is traditionally unreliable, but it was consistently reliable in the Democratic primaries this year.

Young people registered and voted in record numbers.

other people who SCIENTIFICALY study this sort of thing, it appears as if the Bradley Effect will be minor at best, which is a good thing.

But we won't know until after the election.

My bet is that it will be minor, if at all....
