I've always found Chuck Asay's cartoons infuriating, especially his penchant for flat-out lying about the opinions and statements of the liberals that he targets for abuse. But the latest really crosses a line, in my opinion: representing Nancy Pelosi with a black eye, while Republicans gloat that they preferred to vote "eye" rather than "aye." Never mind that his "satire" is out of date and that the bailout bill is now law (with a lot of Republican pork added). I don't find the idea of beating a woman very funny, even metaphorically.
