It's an old saying in the South - but true in the far North as well.

Sarah Palin is a one-hit wonder, and, four years from now, if she makes an attempt on the national political scene (as she most likely will), her currency will have degraded significantly.

Not just that her already dubious sex appeal will have diminished, but the "stupid" part will be oh-so-more apparent, especially now as she takes on the role of right-wing smear-person in chief.

Usually when a party falls from power, some introspection occurs, and a new and better form emerges.

Thanks to Sarah Palin, and her almost inevitable crusade to seize a leadership role (for which she is ill-suited), we can expect the Republicans to go thru and protracted period of fratricide, self-doubt, dis-integration, and public ridicule for at least the next 8 years.

Besides, I don't think she's going to get another elective position in Alaska after this disaster. (At least I hope not. Alaskans, redeem yourselves!)
