At least be honest
by jsdriscoll

Palin is as ready for the presidency as Obama. She can't answer questions as well as he can; she isn't as smart as he is, and she doesn't have his skills behind a podium. Guess what? None of those qualities qualify Obama for the presidency. You democrats just want him to win.

Just be honest. Palin cancels out the experience argument for McCain. She's actually more qualified to be president than Barack Obama. Two years in the senate is not enough experience. I'd rather have Palin a "heart-beat away" than have Obama in the driver's seat.

Well, when I rain against Palin and McCain, I'm not rooting for Obama and Biden, but there is no Serious alternative. You're right, she can't answer questions as well as him. Usually when I can't answer questions as well as someone else, it's because I don't know the answers because I don't have the knowledge. If I have to choose between the two (and I realize that Obama is the P nom and Palin is the VP nom- for now) I'd choose the person who's done his research. What is it about Obama you dislike? Is he radical, racist, prone to losing his temper, uneducated, lazy? Let me know why you think he'd make a worse candidate.

For where we are -- financially, internationally, etc., -- I wish we had better choices for candidates. It's really depressing that these two are our choices. There is nothing about Barack Obama as a person that I dislike, aside from his choice in pastors. In fact, I admire him. He and Michelle are proof that Affirmative Action works for one generation, and will be unneccesary for his kids when they go off to college. However, he's not prepared to be the president. He hasn't done anything I know of in practice that trained him for the job, or at least gave him experience in some of its attributes.

I'm probably a Libertarian. I voted for Ron Paul in the Texas primary. I voted for Bill Clinton in 1992. I voted for Ann Richards over W in Texas in 1994. I haven't voted for a democrat since.

On policy, I fear Obama's health care ideas, his tax increases and his other mega spending ideas. I also fear his inexperience in dealing with crisis.

While I don't necessarilly agree with the level of your concerns, I find it extremely refreshing that your opposition to Barak Obama's candidacy is based on his positions or abilities, rather than the usual declarations that "if elected, Barak Obama will take his oath of office on a Quoran."
