Sarah Palin is dumber than a horse's rear-end.

The only reason why she got rave reviews from most pundits is that these pundits want to have sex with her.

And your point is?? The sad state of this country's economy is proof that when it comes to Washington politics, brains are not first on the list of important qualifications.

What Palin brings to the table (besides her good looks, that you are apparently jealous of) is that she is not yet poisoned by the fruit of the Washington Political apple tree.

A politician in Washington who really didn't give a damn about Washington politics: No there is a "Change" you can see and believe in.

Additionally if you want to see really who is to blame view this: <link>

What she brings is an empty head that can be filled with any kind of talking points McCain, Cheney, Limbaugh or Rove feel like cramming in there.

No thoughts of her own, no opinions founded by reality/facts just nice soft clay that the neocons can mold into their image.

What's she going to do when McCain dies in office and has to make a tough decision? Joe six-pack and the hockey moms won't be able to help her at that point. In enters the heros of Fox News....Darth Cheney and his storm troopers.

Freddie and Fannie are only part of the problem. There may well have been a push to allow people to buy homes that they couldn't afford. That isn't the whole problem. Then there were the banks who packaged the mortgages and sold them through their brokerages....that wouldn't have been allowed before the legislation that stripped Glass Steagal of any ability to control the kind of decisions that were too risky.

Remember that it has been McCain who has claimed to be for deregulation. It was the republicans who prevented the bill that would have increased regulation of Fannie and Freddi, from coming to a vote.
