Palin is silly putty
by hawaiimike

If this clown Mickey Kaus is at all interested in being taken seriously, why doesn't he take a page from the talking heads, who even with their lack of depth perception could see that Sarah didn't have an original answer coming from her own head throughout the debate.

Sarah Palin knows nothing about domestic or foreign policy outside of her home state of Alaska. And until she won the VP sweepstakes, she frankly wasn't interested.

Palin is trying to get Americans to believe that dis-interest in national and international politics is a strong qualification to be elected.

That's all fine and good, as long as you aren't trying to get elected to the vice presidency of a the united states.

A politician who isn't a politician who wants to be a heart beat away from being the most powerful politician in the US if not the world.

I've wondered about this myself. Is she just doing this because she can't resist a popularity contest? It seems from her history that she's never decided that she had more to learn before stepping on somebody's back to get a little higher. But why? I just don't get it. Why would you want to be the President (which she's apparently said) if you have no interest in policy of any sort? If you have no interest in anything except your own advancement? Has anyone explained to her how much work it is? I can't believe the Republicans are offering us somebody less experienced and less (I can't believe I'm even saying this) intelligent than George W. Bush as a national candidate. The economic crisis can go to hell; we're in a much worse crisis if this is who we're supposed to consider a serious candidate. One step closer to Idiocracy, getting our news from E! and our dinners from Taco Bell automated machines.

I find it insulting to my intelligence that John McCain and his republican party have pushed candidate Palin as a qualified candidate for the vice presidency.

Its an insult not only to average citizens, but an insult to women. An insult to Hillary Clinton who has worked her ass off, and basically surrendered her life into a life of politics to have a woman that frankly isn't even really interested be in this position.

The fine actor Matt Damon charactorized the Palin pick as a bad Disney movie. Hockey mom minding her own business is called upon to be the vice president. Ha! But it does seem to be the case. And the GOP and the republicans are trying to package Palin as just that. Stay in Alaska Sarah. Please! For the sake of my and my families future. Stay in Alaska with your color by numbers economy.
