If Palin were a man

and delivered that performance last night, the reviews would be quite different today. No one can possibly deny that Palin is being given a free pass.

I should start by saying I found her performance disappointing; all style no substance and ridiculous dodges of not-too-difficult questions.

That said, I don't think she's getting an unprecedented pass. I'm thinking back to Rudy G, he of the 'a noun, a verb, and 9/11' sentence structure. He dodged most questions asked of him and didn't lay forth many plans or specifics.

Granted, he got his butt handed to him in the primaries, but he wasn't bashed as much as I thought he should be.
