and she is the most "tolerant" one in her family!

I don't know if anyone else caught this, but at least twice during the debate she emphasized that by being "tolerant" she caught heat from some of her family memebers. So, I guess we can all heave a sigh of relief that the most liberal member of the Palin family is running for VP.

God help us all

What a shocker, that small-town trailer trash would be intolerant and narrow-minded!

You chide people from small towns and trailor parks for being intolerant and narrow-minded, yet in the same sentence you call those people "trash." Way to go.

DIdn't she refuse to support her MIL's run for mayor because her MIL is pro-choice?

In my experience, people from small towns tend to be very narrow-minded and intolerant. And people who live in trailer parks are, by and large, trash, because they're losers.

Any questions?

Yes. What makes them "losers" in your opinion?

I have friends that voluntarily choose to live in trailer parks.

Its a matter of education, lack of self control, fundamentalist beliefs and a willingness to force this on the rest of us while not practising it themselves. Sound familiar?

In my experience, people who think they're better than others because of where they live are very narrow-minded and intolerant.

And people who call other human beings "trash" are, by and large, losers.

What makes them losers is that they've done nothing in their lives to rise above the bottom rung of the economic ladder.

No one in their right minds would choose to live in a trailer park, unless they couldn't afford to live anywhere else, in which case it's not really a choice.

Some people value things other that economic success, and others can't seem to rise up the ladder (health problems with no insurance, etc.)

As for my one buddy who lives in a traielr park, it's actually pretty neat. He doesn't make much money, but he doesn't have rent, so he's free to use all of his earnings to save for retirement (I assume he's buying a house at some point...his trailer is cheaper than renting) and to do whatever leisure activities he sees fit. He probably makes half as much as a lot of folks that post here, but he travels often and can pursue whatever odd hobby he sees fit. It keeps him happier than a lot of wealthy folks I know that are now concerned about affording their houses.
