Both candidates exceeded their low expectations. Biden’s mastery of foreign policy, his alleged strong suit, was on shaky ground with Lebanon and Hezbollah. If Palin said that she would have been hammered for that hard, yet the media passes Biden.

What was made evident was the fundamental philosophical ideological shift Obama and Biden will bring for the country. If they are elected it is clear to me that free market capitalism and individual liberty will be snuffed out if Obama and Biden are elected. It would not surprise me if the US became part of the European Union. In the end American liberty will no longer exist as it did with an Obama/Biden administration. The radical lefts dream will be realized as the US becomes a socialistic state just like our neighbors.

Strange you should mention free-market capitalism. I wasn't aware that a financial system that relies on hundreds of billions of dollars in bailouts from the government every few years was called capitalism.

And I suppose that under McCain, liberty will not be snuffed out, as every citizen will be free to spend $40,000 on doctors and hospital visits.

And everyone will be free to breathe polluted air and drink polluted water.

And our children will be free to not attend college because its too expensive.

If that's your definition of freedom, I don't want to know what your definition of socialism is!

I mean our economy is strong..and our country is peaceful and prosperous..no one can wire tap our phones,

and with the free trade agreements we already have anyway..I see little downside to joining the EU..and I'm FOR nationalized banking..and a flat 10% tax rate across the board.
