Joe Biden is clearly ready to be president. He is full of relevant facts, and puts them together in a coherent whole.

Sarah Palin is articulate, passionate, and an expert bullshitter, evading and offering plentiful generalities sprinkled with a few supporting facts, some of which are false.

That's always been a winning strategy for the GOP. The only question is whether we want four more years of it.

What Palin proved is that she can memorize what she is supposed to say.

She did not prove herself capable of thinking through the issues and making up her mind when there is any deviation in the facts. I'd bet if she were asked what she meant by "preconditions" she'd have gone back into stammer mode.

Definitely, Palin is a total parrot.
