I quit half way through and read live blogging. couldn't stand the ridiculously fast pace and Ifil didn't seem to know how to slow it down.

It wasn't Ifill's fault, it was the format. 90 seconds to answer, 2 mins of discussion. Both talked fast to get in their respective talking points.

But, Biden definitely "won".

I'm kinda tipsy, though, since I followed several different drinking game rules (hockey mom reference, "maverick", dropping the gerunds, and especially, "WTF is she talking about???".)

You are just so very thrilled she didn't outright embarrass you.

She lied SEVERAL times about Obama. Biden told the truth.

Biden was just as stellar as I had expected.

Conservatives have nothing to complain about.

The sister did fine yo!.....

For what it's worth, I watched the entire debate.

I felt Biden clearly did the better job of contrasting an Obama administration with a McCain administration. Biden scored points on economic and foreign policy issues.

Palin made only a few mistakes. One, she seemed to endorse Cheney's theory that the VP is not part of the executive branch. This was her biggest blunder.

Second, she endorsed recognizing Jerusalem and moving the American embassy to Jerusalem.

She was not a deer in the headlights and exceeded expectations.

I don't think her performance will alter the strong trend toward Obama. If anything, the debate helped Obama.

He's still got 2 debates with McCain.

The debate proceeded at its pace, and she moderated well.

I've gotta give her credit though. If I were her, I would've asked that sorry-assed bitch from Alaska, if she agreed with the Fox-fartian trailer trash - who aren't worthy to lick the bottom of her shoes - and who slithered through dogshit to impugn her character.
