That's all you can think to defend your candidate who has acted so strangely in the last two months. First he picked an unprepared vice-presidential candidate solely on her looks and belief in creationism. Then he lurched into his announcement that the fundamentals of the economy are strong, but a few days later suspending his campaign (but not really) to save us all from the financial crisis.

Do you know anything about the poor? Many go from one crisis to the next, without any real future plan because they don't know how. I expect that from individuals who don't have money or access to education. I DO NOT EXPECT IT FROM A UNITED STATES SENATOR! His actions and words in the last month have been erratic, because he has turned his campaign over to his handlers. It's a shame really, I always respected John McCain, but he lost my respect in the last six weeks.

Here's the truth. He didn't do well in the economic first part of the debate and he did much better in the foreign policy second part (ecept for scolding Obama. That made him look like a crochety old man).

Why don't you stop looking for fake villians and take a real look at your party's candidate.
