RE: hypothetical questions
by regibbons
Obama's generosity with hypothetical answers may very well come back to bite him in the backside. Currently he may be portrayed as a media darling, but eventually Ms. Rodham will issue order 66, and all media will turn to assassinate all of the remaining candidates, a la Star Wars Episode III. Once that directive begins, his hypothetical answers, repeated sans question, will be used to the Exalted One's advantage. He will be hung out to dry in ropes he wove himself. The net he cast to draw in voters unraveling into a hangman's noose.

rgibbons that is so true unless the voters can see through that web, woven by the Clinton machine. But you are probably right. Americans, like 3rd World people and Russians seem to vote with their gut more than their head.
But there's that hope.

There's always the hope and, really, the more Americans will actually think. Obama is challenging us to rise to the occasion and use the old noodle. JFK did that as well, his many shorcomings aside. He was also extremely inexperienced when elected president and made rookie mistakes. But he also used his brain to stand up to his military leadership during the Cuban missile confrontation.

On the bright side, by the time that happens, Obama may have accumulated more money than G*d and a media army of his own... Hil's Order 66 may be going to quite a few storm-troopers unwilling to fall in line.
