Not being from the South, I love these folksy common sense Southern sayings. Is "stupid is as stupid does" one of them or was it made up for Forrest Gump? By the way, Gump would be a much better VP choice. He was honest, wasn't afraid to say "I don't know" and had a fundamental decency. He also knew his limits and didn't think too highly of himself. All things Ms. Palin lacks. And dude was smart. I mean, he saved his buddies in Vietnam, started a successful shrimping business, made prescient investments in a nascent Apple, invented the saying "Shit happens" and fathered and raised a great kid. I never understood why he was looked on as retarded.

The more I hear her speak, she does NOT resemble Tina Fey. I think she sounds and looks more like the character " Karen" (portrayed by Megan Mullally) from the T.V. show "Will & Grace".
