UGH! Cowardice is not brilliance!

Why do we continue to give McCain so much slack and credit for that matter? His pathetic and ridiculously transparent choice of Sarah Pallin was an act of a desperate man. This action is just a futile attempt to delay the inevitable: the American public watching as a bitter, unscrupulous old war-monger discusses the future of this nation with a young, vibrant hopeful young man. This is what McCain and the Republican party want to avoid. Why is McCain going back to Washington? To bailout the corporate buddies and liasions that he didn't regulate in the first place.

As a nation, we have to stop placing high regard for military service as a prerequisite for the Presidency of the United States. Prisoners of War are not the best candidates for office. How many times does McCain mentioning bombing Iran does it take for this nation to realize his true intentions?

the media was so much in McCain's pocket, that little details like the fact that he graduated at the bottom of his class and repeatedly crashed jets, went unreported.

My favorite moment is when McCain surrogate, Lindsey Graham, came out today and suggested that we should postpone the Presidential debate until October 2 and move the VP debate, which was originally scheduled for that date, to another, yet determined date.

You special needs Liberals are very emotional. That's why you are percieved as weak by the majority of this country. Conservative men become Doctors, liberal men become Nurses. In high school, conservative men play football, liberal men join the band or the cheerleading squad. People don't want their country defended by nurses or cheerleaders, they want to be led by Doctors or football players. Don't get your panties in a wad over it though. After all Doctors need nurses and Football players perform much better thanks to the band and cheerleaders. We'll still love you after the election.

It DOES sound like Lindsey Graham is trying to provide cover for McCain. Just winkle away that VP debate int oblivion. Keith Olbermann mentioned this possible scheme on Letterman last night (when Dave wasn't melting down about MCcain's no-show and it sounded awfully paranoid when he said it. Now...I'm not so sure. Apparently Palin's handlers pulled similar stunts of cloistering her from the press and controlling the debate questions when she ran for Gov. of AK.

Canceling the presidential debate so that it will mess up the schedule and (gosh darn it!) Sarah won't be able to debate after all, is the most logical, if unethical reason for McCain throwing a grenade into the political process. Unethical doesn't begin to cover it, but it's all I can muster at the moment.
