Nasty rumors taken at face value?
by devizier

Color me shocked! Ask John Kerry what he thinks about the issue.

One thing hurting Palin (w/regard to the spreading of these nasty rumors) is that she isn't making herself available to the press. So there's no one there to report the denial. Just sayin'.

You made exactly the point I was about to make: That our somnamulent media did little to debunk any of the rumours that were circulated about john Kerry (or the lies that were being spread by the Arkansas Proejct against Bill Clinton for that matter).

What was the most amazing item to me was when FoxNews and The Washington Times tried to spread the "Barak Obama went to a Madrassa Muslim School" and CNN actually checked it out. Usually they, like the other media, would have just repeated the Right-wing talking points about "whether Obama's Madrassa Problem would be serious".

Our "Liberal" media haws not been nearly so serious in checking out the various rumours that I still see circulated (how many of you have heard that Barak Obama will, if elected take his oath of office on a Quoran?)

My words to Sarah Palin loyal supporters, "Welcome to the club".

If Ms. Palin doesn't want rumours, how about taking a question or two from someone other than Sean Hannity? Or won't Steve Schmidt permit you to do that?

Palin has one of nastiest and most combative interviews with charles Gibson that I have seen in my life. His condescending and smug attitude would have been shocking if it had been with Senator Obama. That is the double standard of sexism versus racism in this country.
