It is correct to use the pronoun "me" for the predicate; "Nanotech and I" is correct as a compound subject. CD fouled up the syntax a little bit by not using enough commas.

But it's just a silly message board. Most of us don't speak the King's English in casual conversation, either.

I don't think we give you a hard time because of your faith. We give you a hard time because your demeanor is that of an utter asshole, which in theory, is what your faith supposedly teaches you not to be.

I think you were probably busy getting banned from cvarious non-Slate forums under your original 'spiderMBA' handle at the time Faith Based was created, but it was created in response to myself and other long-term Fraysters (principally in DP) asking that a board dedicated to discussing issues of faith be created.

There was no intent that it be created for the purpose of promoting faith, or that it be devoted primarily to discussion of issues realting to any given religious tradition's articles of faith (Christian, Muslim, Hindu, or otherwise).

Simply put, if you expect the discussions on this board to be 'dominated' by posters who agree with your own preferred articles of faith, or who share with you a belief in a personal god (or any god at all for that matter) you've come to the wrong place. There are plenty of other forums out there you maight find more to your liking where you can preach to the choir without having to defend your preferred positions.

Simply put, it's unreasonable to expect participants to refrain from referring to individuals as "fundies" or "right wing religious extremists" when their posts demonstrate that they are in fact fundamentalists or their posts offer extremist right wing religious positions or policies for discussion.

Simply put, responses to your posts and nano's don't represent a 'disruption' of this message board because this board was created for the purpose of engaging in such dialogues, within the stated posting guidelines of the Fray.

So again: as you seem to be looking for a venue other than Faith Based--as you seem to have no real idea of what this board is all about--you may wish to consider find another forum where your comments will be more charitaby recieved, where you won't be asked to defend claims you've made, where the majority of individuals share your preferred superstitious ideations. Sounds boring as hell to me, but hey--different strokes and all that.
