Does the author consider the Nazis use of Roman Catholic churches as areas to coral Italian citizens to kill them as helping out Hitler?

Fact: Catholics saved countless people during WWII. Because the Pope at that time did not act as the author would wish does not make the religion in league with Fascists and Nazis.
