They Love Apple
by Guylinder
Every time I go into my local Apple store there are plenty of seniors. Many are taking tutorials but just as many are buying iPods and iPod accessories like speaker systems, headphones, etc. They seem more gungho on Apple products than the younger people are. This may be because Apple offers classes, whereas you can't get classes from Dell or HP. Yeah, you can go to your local library and take courses like "How to Turn On Your Computer," but malls are more sensible places for classes because people, especially seniors, like one-stop shopping. Buy a computer, take computer classes, go to Sears to buy old man-type pants, get some indoor exercise by mallwalking, buy a ton of vitamins and supplements from the health food shop, pick up some Estee Lauder anti-aging complex and then eat those cinnabon things before going home..
