For one to determine whether Scientology is a cult, one must first understand the definition of a religious cult. That definition, according to Webster's dictionary reads as follows: a religion regarded as unorthodox or spurious. With that in mind, one would think that a "religion writer" would not miss so badly.
Orthodox religion includes belief in God, belief in the Divinity of His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Word of God and its accuracy and authority in our lives. Scientology is hardly based on nothing more than a "Jim Jones, David Keresh" charismatic leader named L. Ron Hubbard.
The last thing this country needs is another dead prophet!
