Diana Moon Glampers for Handicapper General

I'm not sure how the nation can dumb down any quicker. You would think a lesson had been learned after electing someone who was a bit dim but seemed like a swell guy and who is now fiddling as the empire burns.

But apparently we won't be truly content until we we weed out any potentially intelligent, exceptional people and get someone in office that can make us feel really good about our own faults, shortcomings and inadequacies. Welcome to the monkey house...

OMG I can't stop laughing at that. I was shaking my head when reading the tag-line. The nation is comprised of over 200 million citizens who have ideas that they are capable to run the country. Only a few million know that they are under-prepared to do the task. The biggest problem is that when you elect the lowest common denominator ( LCD ) to the second highest office, you run dangerously close to the edge of sanity.

None of us wants the guy last in his graduating class to do surgery on their mother. None of us want the policeman who got into the academy on a drug waiver to guard our children. None of us want the guy who took eight tries passing the bar to represent us for a murder case. Why shoot for "regular guy" to be in charge of our military, economy, personal freedoms, public image, and nuclear weapons?

Work hard. Study. Be a good person. Donate your time to charity. Someday you'll be smart enough to be President.

Now, we're saying... Yer cute. We'll vote for ya. Go U.S.A !

Am I the only one with the sinking feeling that the Constitution would be one heart beat away from covering Palin's floor when the huskies are brought indoors?
