Obama co-sponsors a bill aimed at warning kids about sexual predators and suddenly he voted for "sex education for kindergarteners."

Obama uses a colloquillism to describe McCain's policies and suddenly he's making "sexist remarks."

McCain has reversed his stance on torture to appeal to the right.

He has claimed that he "supports the troops" while consistently voting for them. His rationale for oppsing the new GI Bill? The benefits were too good and people might actually choose to leave the military. I guess McCain would rather leave the troops with few options other than staying in the military.

Perhaps the most disgusting thing McCain and the Republican party has done is to turn the deaths of thousands of Americans on 9/11/01 into nothing more than a cheap way to scare Americans into voting for them.

Remember how united we all were after 9/11? Bush and his enablers like McCain made sure that didn't last claiming that we needed the torture, secret wire taps, surveillance of such "subversive" groups as Catholics for peace and the Quakers and basically calling anyone who dared question these disgusting tactics a traitor to their country.

McCain knows that he can't win on the issues so his doing his best to change the subject with misrepresentations, fear mongering and outright lies.

McCain owes the America people an apology. I'm not holding my breath.

I agree with you completely. I used to think of McCain as an "independent" politician - but he's sold his soul in hopes of becoming president and continuing the Bush "legacy". What a sad ending to McCain's career!

McCain is running his campaign by the Karl Rove handbook... nothing matters other than winning... and it doesn't matter how you win. If "negative" (actually, "untruthful") campaigning works, he does it. Creating distraction is better than actually attempting to deal with the issues - after all, he's LOSING on the issues! It's the same old sham that the Republicans have used in the past. Now it's up to America to see through it!

McCain was a screw-up and "hot dog" in the military; the only reason he wasn't kicked out of the Navy was because his dad was the admiral. He crashed 4 planes and was a well known bully. His recklessness and hot-headedness are well-documented and corroborated, and these continue to this day.

The article has a clear and biased slant against John McCain's war record. It may be true that his service isn't all that it is made to seem by the mainstream media, but it is deplorable to attempt to prove otherwise through quoted anonymous attacks while making no attempt to explore official reports or give the reader perspective outside of unconfirmed claims by unknown persons.
