What about Palins pets?
by Scoot'r-d
Surely the Palin family pets have done something at sometime to warrant some level of intense liberal inquiry and speculation as to their intentions? Perhaps one of them gave birth and failed to properly deal with the placental remains? Maybe one of them has excessive gas?

I'd get CNN or MSNBC onto this angle right away. This could be the deal breaker. Quick someone contact the Today Show.

But Sara, queen of federal pork did.

It is not PORK when you are asking for it! I expect my Mayor to be in Washington Kiss Ass big time to get money! Hell, why not? THe Governator , too! It is PORK when Washington gives it out! But at that level they are supposed to have the best interest of the USA in mind not just their home district or state.
It's Hypocrit when you run for VP on 'anti-pork' record
by gone_fishing

Another example, Sara Palin was in favor of the 'bridge to nowhere' when she was running for governor. She even visited Ketchikan, Alaska and told the residents it was insulting to call the project the 'bridge to nowhere'.

In other words, she pulled a McCain.

Still, I don't want to beat up on Sara Palin. I just want to make sure people understand that she was never against earmarks before John McCain made his 12:59 choice.

But she was for Barack Obama's energy policies. The press release has mysteriously disappeared from the governor's official web site, but it is still available in the Google Cache.

Thanks for the link. If you READ all of her statement, she was for part of Obama's ideas (use more American energy, READ DRILL MORE, cause that is how we get natural gas), and of course for getting money back. BUT she clearly was troubled by how he proposed to raise the money, stating that his idea would lead to REDUCED production.
Oil derived taxes BAD, except when Sarah is doing it!
by gone_fishing

Yet another example of Sarah Palin saying one thing and doing another! Every year, the state of Alaska sends a substantial check to every man, woman, and child in the state.

Her own share went up $1700 when she gave birth to 'Trig'.

Where do you think this money comes from? From taxes on oil production, that's where. So it is just fine for the state of Alaska to raise funds by taxing oil produced on state land. But, it is somehow a sin to raise funds by taxing oil production on federal land!
