1. John McCain supported the filibuster of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. Lilly Ledbetter, if you don't know, proved she had been intentionally paid a fraction of the pay of her male coworkers. After she proved her case before a jury, the Republican court ruled that she was barred from suing since she hadn't filed within 180 days of being hired. How could she even know the differences in the salaries when the salaries were secret! John McCain: Woman who were discriminated against 'should work harder'.

That is just not decent!

2. If you are sick with cancer and have no health insurance, you will likely be turned away without treatment. Come back later, when you have insurance!

3. Since the 1980s, the wealth of the top 10% has doubled while the wages of the middle class have gone nowhere. It gets harder every year for middle class Americans to raise their family and give their children a chance to go to college. Meanwhile the Republican policies have made it possible for the hedge fund managers to claim all of their income as capital gains, allowing them to pay the LOWEST TAX RATE on their millions.

That is just not decent!

4. Today we are involved in a war we never needed in Iraq, costing us $10 Billion a month in direct expenses (plus the cost of lifetime support for injured vets). This money does nothing to educate our children, repair our bridges, or change the nation to a renewable energy economy.

That is not decent!
