Journalism died... The "Press" is dead.

The "Press" has been killed by the liberal zealots running it. This was best illustrated by the MSM attacks this past week on Palin's entire family. "The Press" never mentioned or celebrated the HISTORIC event that she was the first female VP Candidate in the party of Lincoln. The "Press" failed to report history being made but made it ugly and mean.

The "press" attacked women as unfit for the work environment.

So, which "Press" are you libs defending? The NY Times?? They ran a lie against Gov. Palin, issued a retraction, but had already ran the lie and the damage was done - That is their version of "The Press" and it is modis operandi for them. The NYT has no real press credentials and has a history of abusing their power given under constitutional law.

How about MSNBC - Their attacks against Gov. Palin were so insane they are laughable. Olbermann, Gregory, even Brokaw showed us the email from the blogger the media runs with calling for continued attacks against Palin. ... It is reported that that MBNBC personnel even gave/sold press credentials to Code Pink extremists to allow them access to the RNC Convention. MSNBC is obviously NOT a bona-fide press organization... how do we pull their license?

Since the "press" is dead, It may be time to look at that Constitutional Ammendment that gives the "EXTREMIST LIARS OF THE SO-CALLED "PRESS" THE RIGHT TO COMMIT CRIMES.

You really aren't paying attention, are you?

I mean, if it's lies from FOX, you're okay with that, believing them even after numerous other sources have shown them to be wrong.

But let a so-called liberal outlet get it wrong, and you want to curtail the 1st amendment.

Hey, go back to Stalinist Russia or Hitlerian Berlin, and keep your filthy hands off my country's Constitution!

Seriously dude....

Where have you been in the last two election cycles when the press was savaging Gore and Kerry? Remember the "Gore invented the Internet" story? Was that true? Did he say that?

Wait....are you really that naive that you still believe that?

How about the Love Canal story? The Love Story story?

Oh. My. God. You belive that stuff!

I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I always thought of you as a bigot and an apparatchick, and I always suspected you were a little out of touch with reality, but not stupid and uninformed.

Excuse me if I start ignoring your posts like I do Fred_Call or whatever he calls himself after he gets banned again, but seriously, if you don't understand the press's role in the last two presidential election cycles, you really aren't someone worth reading.

Wake up, Skippy!!

For you to deny the press is dishonest and journalism is dead as a valid profession...... that leaves you standing without your clothes.

Well, I never!

What is it with neocons, always wanting to suppress the 1st amendment when they don't agree with the press coverage?

He's dead to me....

I like to engage in discussions with the right wing extremists, but I expect them to be at least vaguely familiar with the facts.

To portray the press as somehow liberal after they trashed Gore repeatedly in the 2000 election is simply ignorant and naive, and there is no reason to continue discussing politics with someone who can't bring themselves to talk facts.
