Those three issues are NOT very much in the province of any President to influence, except by court appointments. So: BO and Dems allow the voters to be rather distracted -- by reponding to those "issues" as if they were key elements on a par with the economy and wars.

BO and Dems have largely failed in energizing voters about issues of economics and wars. One reason is that Dems have joined Reps in Globalist fanaticism. Another reason is that Reps have successfully turned most economic issues into a question of tax increases. Voters assume, perhaps incorrectly, that Dems will increase taxes -- mainly to pay "welfare"-type benefits, especially to blacks -- even though welfare has been decimated even in NYC.

Issues of healthcare, Social Security, deficits, debts, unemployment, the dollar, etc -- have all been worked to death in recent elections, where they all just died in the hands of clumsy Dem "doctors." Healthcare was essentially euthanized by the Clintons, who dropped it like a hot potato by 1994. Those issues just aren't rising to a level of credibility in the Dems' clumsy hands.

Wars? GOP has brilliantly yelled "victory" by harping on The Surge. Never mind that the Afgh War is spreading into Pakistan, whose government is nearly unstable. The Terrorists no doubt have set their sights on Pakistan's A-bombs. Does BO have any words about the mounting catastrophe in Pakistan?

All the while, Dems are focused on issues like abortion, gays, and guns -- in reaction to GOP disinformation. Notice how I left out mention of environment and energy. Even there, Mc has a clear and loud position, while most of what we hear from BO is that he had a runaway father from Kenya!

The Dems are just not getting through to voters.
