the righties than righties tuned in to check out the lefties. Righties are famously uncurious intellectually. SheilaB laughed at me because I was watching the Pug convention.

Except for Palin's speech, it was extremly dull and boring, so I'm not sure a big audience is particularly good news for the Pugs.

I recorded last nights speech by McCain (found it funny how it started at 9:11pm CST). and watched it this morning.

I knew I would have to Fast forward through all the applauses and was able to watch the talking in about 40 minutes.

Gotta watch both sides to be able to talk about all this with some validity and intellegence.

When the protesters showed up, the crowd tried to drown them out by shouting "USA, USA!" over and over. It was pretty good theatre. It you spooled right through it, the first protesters show up pretty near the beginning of the speech.

In fact, it might be more interesting to watch just the applause part that the actual speech which was defintiely a snoozer.

They wait for malkin, coulter, olielly, or one of their other propagandists to tell them how they feel about current events. First-hand knowledge could get in the way of that.

I would have watched McCain's speech last night, but I didn't want to fall asleep in front of the TV!

Actually I did catch that female protester and that Vet who held up the sign saying "McCain voted against Vets".

Were there any others I may have missed?

I did notice from my coworkers radio in the neighboring office next to mine this morning who was listen to local conservative talk radio that the host (who was bashing that Vet) was saying that sign that vet was holding said "McCain hates the Troops". Even my conservative coworker caught the falsehood on that one.

The level of pure unadulterated hatred the left has for their political rivals is mind boggling, but not unprecedented in history.
