You are right of course, but the Republicans can't run on the issues, they have admitted as much. What they want to run on is personalities. Sadly, many dummies still pick vote based on who "appeals" to them the most, not on the issues that have an impact on their lives. I have come to the conclusion that those who vote this way suffer from feelings of being powerless. They probably don't have much power in their lives, and feel their vote really won't make much difference, so why bother with the issues.

I have to second your advice to look at the issues. I'm a woman. I wanted Hilary to win but Obama and Biden are way more in line with what is important to me. Thanks for assuring me of my DUMB ASS citizenship. I had suspected that my Christian values, freedom from government control of my finances and healthcare, usage of birth control, and support of our troops made me a DUMB ASS, but now I know.
