McCain's speech
by Irma
Being a lifelong Democrat, I cannot vote Republican.
This year, however, the Democrats offer as our nominee, a person, who is unfit for the Presidency. The choice is clear, I will vote
for a Democratic congress in the hope that a sufficient majority can be reached to gain control of all legislation. For president, I will write in
Hilary Rodham Clinton. With a Democratic congress - I dont mind letting a war hero be President of US for one term.

Translation: Please Hillary supporters, vote for McCain by writing in Hillary's name.

A Republican poster no doubt. A REAL Hillary supporter would never vote for McCain, his platform is anti-feminist.

As a speech, McCain's text was less bitchy than Palin's and less humorous. But, it was more specific. He actually proposed things--it wasn't policy he put forth but reassurance.

Most notable, though, was his thinly veiled critique of the Bush administration's low points, the transgressions of Republicans like Jack Abramoff, and the hardness of Karl Rove and Dick Cheney (though none were mentioned by name). To his credit, he acknowledged that in many ways, Republicans have failed.

On my blog, I actually give the speech a letter grade. You can read more here:

Obviously Irma cares more about war than domestic issues.
