Sarah's still more experienced than Barack.

Governor Sarah Palin has spent more time in the Alaska Governor's Mansion than Senator Barack Obama has spent in the US Capitol Building. (Because he was so busy running for president, he's only been there 143 days.)

And if you point out that Alaska is sparsely populated, that's why it only has as many electoral delegates as Senator Biden's state of Delaware, which is geographically tiny in comparison.

At this point the experience or lack there of between her and senator obama is a non-issue since the GOP has evened out the playing field with their historical making pick as Vice President. I want to hear her opinions regarding exactly how she intends to work with Sen. McCain to resolve the issues facing America today.

I think that should be the main focus and I want to see what she will bring to the table.

The debates will be great to watch, very interesting election.

So Donny, what did she DO in the Governor's office that impresses you so? Also, since she seems to think it's an important part of her resume, what did she do as Mayor of Wasilla?

I know about that stuff because I read it in the New York Times. You can go to the Times online, search her name, and her history will be right there for you to read.

But if you're happy with the happy-face abbreviated history you get from the RNC, well, why am I not surprised?

Actually, as the VP candidate she has more experience and is better qualified than the Democrat's Presidential candidate. As the Governor of Alaska, the largest state in the Union, she is the Commander-in-Chief of the Alaska National Guard and the top executive in the state.

Kinda beats the pants off of a community organizer, rookie senator with no accomplishments. He would have been a good VP choice for Hillary.

I'm sorry, but doesn't she LIVE in the Governor's mansion? Last I looked members of Congress weren't required to live in the US Capitol building.

Plus, I'm sorry, this idea of her having "more experience" is a cute fantasy, but come on... Seriously, what form of time are you guys using for this calculation...dog years? The woman has been a governor for only a month longer than Obama has been RUNNING for president!

I get it. Republicans are feeling a bit of a honeymoon after months of depression over McCain being the candidate, but sadly, honeymoons end. Sooner or later, Palin will have to own up to her positions -- positions that contradict McCain's no less! -- and it's going to take more than a line about pit bulls to get past that.

So Boogy, what state did Obama govern that impresses you so? Also, what city/town did he serve as Mayor? If fact, what has he done to qualify him as the President? Seems to me less than the RNC's VP pick.

So Obama is years behind Palin. Maybe he should be the Veep and Biden on the top of the ticket. Then Obama can fill in Biden's lack of community organizer expereince.

Some idiot GOP or commentator said she has more "foreign policy experience than Obama because Alaska is next to Russia" (LOL) go on youtube and see the clip

2yrs headlining as the Gov of Alaska with a long history of accomplishments and last thursday/Friday when McCain picked her was the first time anyone has heard of her. (???) oh please

hmmm.. you still didn't tell me what she has ACCOMPLISHED while being Governor. what you gave me was a partial listing of her responsibilities in office.

If I multiply Obama's acomplishments by any number other than zero I still get zero. How is that?

She pushed through ethics reform legislation, pushed through legislation for a 1.5 billion increase in oil company profits to be distributed as part of the Alaska Permanent Fund (I understand this amount to $1200 per resident). She sold off the corporate jet and pushed through the 30 to 40 Billion dollar Transcanada pipeline deal. Since Obama has proposed taxing oil company profits, Dems should be estatic at the prospect of someone like Sarah Palin who have actually gotten it done.

Michelle Malkin?

Bwahahahahaha!!!!

Oh, that's rich. As if that woman could manage a sentence that didn't pander to the ultra right wing. You might as well have directed us to Karl Rove or Ann Coulter.
