So when all was said and done at the republican convention, what came out of the McCain/Palin ticket was:

" I have more character than Brack Obama. Vote for me".

Much has been said of the fact that it is the republicans who brought our economy to its knees while making big business fabulously rich. Bush didn't even show his face at the repub convention.

The repubs are talking about change from something they created? How does that work?

No discussions about how he will address job loss, wars overseas, health care, infrastructure - anything. What we got was:

"I have more character than Barack Obama. Vote for me."

Don't you find this insulting? Don't you want your candidate to provide guidance and leadeship to address issues that affect us and our families?

Even if Barack Obama fails as president and is drummed out next election, I feel certain that he will try to implement fiscal and policy changes to try to get us out of the hole that the repubs have dug for us.

The only thing the repubs will do is to fill the hole with dirt after we all die and are put into it. And by "all" repubs I am talking about you too -

unless you make 5 million a year, then by McCain's standard you are doing alright.
