Now that McCain and Palin have finished patting each other on the back, let's get back to the issues before us.
John McCain marched in virtual lockstep with George W. Bush and Dick Cheney in taking the US into a war that never should have been fought.
John McCain voted against helping wounded GI's and Veterans who were maimed in the very war that he helped to start.
John McCain said, in his own words that he didn't understand much about economic issues.
John McCain's chief economist saud the recession is all in our minds, and we're a bunch of whiners.
George W. Bush and John McCain have both, within the past two weeks, said that they think the US economy is doing well.
John McCain talks about shaking up Washington, but you know he won't shake very hard because of his own part in protecting the Keating Five and republican contributors who were involved in Savings & Loan frauds.
Sarah Palin is already under investigation on ethics issues in Alaska. She thinks $250k per year is "working class". She wants to prosecute doctors and patients for any abortion - even in the case of rape or incest. Even Cindy McCain disagrees with that! She thinks turning over her own state to the big oil companies is a good idea. Her lack of any real-world experience is evident, yet republicans want her a heart-beat away from the presidency?
Three days of coverage from the republican convention, and all we got from these two is "I'm a hero" and "I'm a working class hockey mom." No plans, no policies, no ideas.
Well, I think Hillary Clinton said it better than anyone else could: "No way, No how, No McCain!"
...and Palin? Well, she only really counts if McGeezer croaked in office!
