Racist Oprah: 'I aint talking to dat white bitch!'

What's this? It seems *O*P*R*A*H* doesn't want to interview Sarah Palin.

It's very racist of you to assume
by Nick_Danger

she doesn't want to interview Palin because of Palin's color.

Why don't you get your own TV talk show and then you can decide who to interview or not, OK?

Didn't you know

She has the owns her own show and it has the largest following of any talk show, so no one is going to fire her. I can not stand the show myself but she can have anyone she wants and the networks will be fine with that. You know those ratings. But as I said I can not stand the show.

She should interview Palin, and ask her why she's such an extreme right-wing religious nut.

That sounds more like ugly racism than a statement of fact, MrTiki. Do you have a link to this claim?

And Oprah would know all about 'extreme religious nuts,' having sat in Rev Wright's loony church just like her sock puppet Barack.

Not at all

She has already officially endorsed Obama -- even stumped for him in large venues. She makes reference to it on her show.

She can't take off her 'Obama surrogate' hat and put on a 'journalist' or even 'talk show host' hat without raising a dustup that just wouldn't be worth it.

If she gives Palin a favorable venue, she's undermining Obama's campaign; if it turns out to be unfavorable to Palin, the McCain campaign will cry "foul". And, you can bet no one in either campaign or any committed viewers would see the outcome as neutral in any circumstance.

It's a wise decision... and you jumped the gun on that racist claim. I'm no Oprah fan, but you seem to be a little jumpy about the whole thing.

Good Lord, dude, are you

posting from the Belgian Congo or what? Broken pigeon English. Incomplete sentences. Criminy!

Perhaps some day you can "have the owns your posts".

Lol! I thought it was, perhaps, a form of Ebonics.

When response to content is impossible, resort to belittling the poster.

So, let's talk about the point I raised below, coward.

Which post?
by Torbin Bequette

The one in this strand -- that Oprah is already an Obama advocate so she cannot credibly interview Palin?

That's a fair point, I guess, although I would have gone with the "it's her show and she can do what she wants" angle.

Now about this "cowardice" thing -- what's up with that?
