First a note. I did expect more war chanting but he actually eased up. So on with my predictions:
Expect:
He'll talk about POW
yes
He'll ease up the tough talk on Iraq (hard to not do that since the administration and Iraq have enacted Obama's plan) He may mumble in a lower voice as Sarah did that things are better. No more than that. If he does say it it will likely be an intro to your next war:
Yes. Though he saved Russia and Iran for later
He will make a boogieman to worry about and you will hear war cries that sound very familiar to anyone who remembers the re-election of Bush focus on weakness/danger/fear/never quite/harms way etc.
Yes. Again less than I expected
You won't hear a statesman solution for talk instead of war just each mention will remind you of the danger you live in and he is the savior
No. He did talk about discussions
It will all sound very familiar
Yes. And the real surpries is the pitch for school choice that mirrored Bush's and never got passed in 8 years.
He will mention he thought the surge would be successful. He won't not it wasn't his plan and he is unconnected to it but he did guess right.
Yes
He will mention drilling forgetting he was against it before he was for it a few months ago. He will mention Obama was against it before he was for it.
Yes except that he seems to have forgotten Obama is for it as well.
He will hit all the trigger words he lifted from Obama while he was mocking Obama on his plan wind, solar, alternative fuel, consumption.
Yes
He will utilize being a man of change that he blatantly lifted from Obama
Yes
He will dust off his achievements like CFR that he created specifically to run for that election. Could not have done it with that pesky Keating 5 hanging over his head.
Yes
Expect no surprise in this one. After selecting a VP whose stances are quite far right, he should be trying to drag his behind back to center to try and grab crossovers again now that his last idea may flop.
Yes
PS I do wish I had added taxes because that is a truth that is also a lie in how he applies it. Obama's tax cut to everyone under 160,000 is more than McCain's. But the full breakdown is this where at the top it hurts but doesn't actually apply to most of this population:
