What the Democrats dont tell you about Wasillas debt

is that it is long term debt. The population there has nearly doubled in 10 years. They are a growing fishing port and you can't expand a town or city without taking loans. At the rate of growth there, revenues will continue to grow while the debt shrinks.

Does that mean it's ok to go into debt, Sgt? What does the term of the debt matter? And what about all those earmarks she got for the town, the ones she now pretends she's "against" and wnts to "reform?"

I guess fraylibs live in apartments for fear of growing thousands of dollars in debt from that home loan. :)

Oh yeah, don't forget it was for physical structures and improvements...by far the best investment of public dollars are...INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS.

She cut property taxes, got rid of un-needed government and cut spending....

Boy I hope she is that much of a bitch when she becomes VP....

When you want to grow your town do you
by Sgt_ROCK

A) Raise taxes and wait for several fiscal years untill you have enough cash in hand to fund your expansion projects

B) Take loans to finance growth, and let people and jobs come into town to raise tax revenues, and pay off the debt with these

LOFL!!! Hit a nerve hunh? Make all the excuses you can

And raised sales taxes...

A regressive tax...

She also instituted a windfall profits tax on some big oil profits and sent that to the eligible people of the state. Windfall taxes and welfare payments use to be something the right argued against...

You sure about that scooter?

Better look where they are on a map.......

I guess you can't answer my questions, then. You seem to think I was saying that taking out loans is wrong, or some silly thing like that.

Any response on the earmarks question? :)

lol.....
