Guiliani's Excellent Speech

Guiliani gave a masterful speech suckering the fact-challenged, black-and-whiters.

The Republican crowd seemed eager to embrace whatever their authority figures in big business and the church tell them.

He tells them in essence that only Republicans care about the country. He omits the Republican party's history of trying to undermine America's democracy, divide its citizens, and demonize foreigners to benefit its wealthy elite.

What more do you expect of a small man in search of a balcony?

My favorite part of his speech was when he got the crowd to scoff at Obama's community organizing efforts, and then turned around a minute later and called Obama elitist.

So, who are the real elitist here, anyway?
Leadership Is Organizing
by viewpoint
Good point.

I too noticed his mocking Obama's organizing laid off steel workers.

It's ironic because one of the MAIN jobs of a leader is to organize people. Leaders typically direct what is often called an "organization".

Leading people who don't have to obey you or get fired is the most challenging kind of leadership. George Washington had to lead his troops by relating to them or else they would pack up and leave. That's partly why he was a great leader.
