I find it interesting that the article writer never mentioned that most likely the reason the Palins can have such a lifestyle is because of union membership. Please give some consideration to the fact that Alaska has a high union density which drives the rest of the wages. Funny how the conservatives forget that the trade unions helped build the middle class of this country.

What conservatives hate (and the common man too) is union folk like those recently in charge at SEIU who have ripped of the "workers" for hundreds of thousand of dollars! i am a card carrying union member for 20 years and i can tell you the membership has nothing in common with the high-flying leadership!

The repubs hate unions so much because they used to be the base of support for the Democratic Party. My theory is that they put moles in the unions to push their way up to leadership positions to push the workers to cry for higher wages, then the companies can use the higher wages to just close up shop and move offshore. Mission Accomplished. It's hypocritical for her to even MENTION that they are/were union members, when the Repubs are so dead set against destroying the unions.
