Sad to say that frustrated and angry kids are taking to the streets, and not that surprising seeing that the "adults" in this country aren't doing shit about 7 years of lying, stealing, sleaze, and treason.

And now we've got McPOW, "hero" of the orgy of destruction that killed millions of Southeast Asians, poisoned their country, killed nearly 60 000 Americans, crippled many thousands of others...for exactly nothing. The only Americans killed on American soil in the war the Vietnamese supposedly waged against us were killed by other Americans, members of the Ohio National Guard, none of whom were ever prosecuted for killing the unarmed kids of their "fellow Americans."

In a real country the Republican leadership with their army of hacks, lobbyists, pundits and assorted jackals would be driven at bayonet point over a cliff.

I'd be careful to assign too much importance to the college kids in St. Paul. Frustrated their indie music scene still sucks - yep. Angry all the chicks are pale, overweight and smell like wet wool and patchouli oil - absolutely. But that's pretty much were all their legitimate gripes end. They're kids attending some of the whitest, solidly middle or upper class schools in the country. The 'man' they hate? Its themselves.

Ah yes, blocking intersection is, indeed, doing shit about 7 years of lying, stealing,sleaze, and treason.

There are many 'adults' in this country who are really trying to make a difference in America; to hold the filthy Republicans accountable for their crimes; who manage active voter registration drives; work hard to make sure the Liberal message gets delivered.

Too bad they don't also block intersections, to really show the care.
