So much for Family Values!
by StopTheMadness

As a mom, I feel so sad for the Palin home. Not because they can ride out these crisis, because with prayer and hard work it can be done. What they represent, however, are the many of the homes in crisis where people don't stop and take stock but, instead keep going and keep on pursuing what ever is important to the adults. First and foremost, I have NO RESPECT for a mother leaving her family in crisis like Mrs. Palin is doing. With an infant down syndrome child and a teen with an unplanned pregnancy - these are clearly red flags that this a mom that needs to be not in the White House but working hard in her own house.

I can't forget how the Republicans pounded the voters with "family values platform" that all of our leaders must be examples; that home life does matter when you are in the spotlight. NOW all of a sudden, it simply proves you're human when you have family crisis.

What hypocrites! I don't ever want to hear a Republican talk about family values ever again. I am sure if this was the same scenario for the DNC - we would never hear the end of it. The spin would be gravely different. But as usual they circle the wagon and cover as if every thing is okay. It's not okay that family needs their mother and we need a qualified woman. There are soooooo many to choose from and she ain't it.

I am pleased that Obama set the record state and will stay on topic - politics.

"Family Values" is another way of saying "good family man". The right wing trash who have sold government to the highest bidder, taken bribes from whoever will pay and have lobbied for the wealthy and powerful are "good family men" because they are among the few who can make enough money on one income to allow that cute little blond bimbo they married to stay home and raise the 5 kids.

According to the Republicans, this makes them better than those who got and education and actually try to make a difference in today's, very difficult society. Since the rest of us need two incomes to pay for the results of this Republican sellout, we are somehow less than perfect.

Voting these scum out of office is really not enough. Anything less than a bullet in the back of the head is a lack of justice. However, even voting them out will likely be impossible since they have the money from the wealthy tax evaders to fund them and the racists and fundamentalist morons (who comprise 40 % of the electorate) in their pocket.

lol

If a member of an organization being a hypocrite means no one in that organization can ever talk about the subject again then Republicans AND Democrats should all just shut up. But that won't ever happen.

u fail nooblet.

I've never seen it fail ---- "hit dogs always holler" and you are screaming! You know I am telling the truth. It's okay to break ranks and agree with the truth. It will set you free.

"People always tell you who they are and when they do--- you have to listen." The Republican leadership has spoken. I get it. Sex sell - not substance.

Again I say, Hypocrites.

But it's gonna be okay - God is in control. So chill out :)

Oooo, tuff guy. Hey man, I'm not going to pretend to know the laws about inciting violence on the internet, but you might, as a general practice, want to avoid advocating killing elected officials. Maybe you have this whole war crime trial fantasy cooked up wherein the executions are institutionalized and "legit", I guess, and you're just opining that you think such an outcome is "just". Whatever, it's still not an intelligent thing to casually say over the web, or ever. But if you're actually a serious Booth/Oswald wannabe, then I hope the cops track you down, you fucking nutjob.
