Not that I'm a fan, but I do find it weird that nobody has claimed Paley's experience negotiating a drilling deal with Canada as part of her foreign policy experience. Canada may not be a security concern, but it is the U.S.A.s #1 trading partner and a governor of Alaska probably knows more about this country than most. It's not nearly as ridiculous thing to list on a resume as Russia. At least there's a second V.P. candidate who can remind the president that Canada has a prime minister.

The people who talk about her foreign policy experience are east coast types who had to look on a map to see where Alaska is and discovered it's close to Siberia.
