Being Daoists, you are aware that life consists of the fluctuations of yin and yang, cyclical motions that define the days, the seasons, the passage of governments, and, as it happens, access to the XX factor blog, which I again am not able to read. Unfortunate, as a favorite poster, Dawn Coyote, informs me that she agrees with a favorite writer, Dahlia Lithwick, and now as best I can tell that agreement consists in their mutual endorsement of the idea that "Oops, something went wrong." Which, come to think of it, is an idea that I could get behind. It could finally be the theory of history that displaces Hegelian dialectics. But for now I'd really just rather settle for the more modest goal of reading what Lithwick wrote.
